Essential Requirements
- Valid right of appearance per Section 25(2) of NPA Act 32/1998
- Demonstrated expertise in sexual offenses and domestic violence litigation
- Proven track record in criminal prosecution and case management
Key Responsibilities
- Prosecute complex sexual offense cases in specialized courts
- Manage case progression through Criminal Justice System (target: 9-month resolution)
- Coordinate Thuthuzela Care Centre case management and operations
- Conduct witness preparation and courtroom proceedings
- Supervise investigative processes and evidence collection
- Develop prosecutorial strategies for improved conviction rates
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration with justice stakeholders
