About Our Organization
We provide essential water services across a large metropolitan area, delivering 1.6 billion liters of potable water daily through an extensive network of infrastructure. Our operations include water distribution systems, reservoirs, pump stations, and wastewater treatment facilities serving communities from Orange Farm to Midrand.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Required Qualifications: National Certificate/Diploma (NQF 6) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience Required: 5 years (minimum 3 years in government procurement)
- Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Core Responsibilities
- Manage tender evaluation processes and bidder communications
- Coordinate procurement timelines and compliance documentation
- Facilitate contract negotiations and stakeholder engagements
- Ensure adherence to SCM policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate procurement records and audit trails
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in government supply chain management
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
