Survey Technician Production Grade A – C (Survey Services)

Department Overview

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Required Qualification: National Diploma in Surveying (T/N Stream) or equivalent
  • Experience Required: 3 years post-qualification technical surveying experience
  • Location: Northern Cape
  • Professional Registration: Valid registration with SA Geomatics Council (Land Surveyors Act 40 of 1984)
  • Driving Requirement: Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct topographic surveys for infrastructure projects
  • Perform hydrographic surveys for water storage analysis
  • Execute cadastral surveys for land boundary determination
  • Utilize survey software for mapping and reporting
  • Manage ground control for aerial surveys
  • Supervise survey operations and field teams
  • Operate GPS equipment for precision surveys
  • Handle survey-related administrative tasks
