Job Title: Tractor Driver (Roodeplaat)

• Job Type: Full Time
• Location: Gauteng
• Experience: 3 years
• Qualification: Matric (Grade 12) is an advantage
• Job Field: Driving

Job Description:

• Operate tractors with various implements, such as bush cutters, slashers, and spraying machines, at the correct speeds.
• Ensure proper soil preparation is done accurately and professionally.
• Transport farm workers, produce, and equipment safely.
• Assist with pruning, canopy management, and harvesting of fruit trees or vineyards.
• Perform basic maintenance of tractors, implements, irrigation, and trellis systems.
• Report any defects or breakages on tractors and implements promptly.
• Manage time effectively for individual and team tasks.
• Maintain records of daily work, diesel usage, and spraying programs.
• Assist with general farm work as needed.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of proven experience operating tractors.
• Basic understanding of farm operations and crop cycles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good reading and writing skills.
• A valid B Driver’s License is an advantage.
• Willingness to complete a competency test during the interview process.
