Are you a seasoned logistics professional with a strong track record in warehouse leadership? Boxer Superstores Distribution Centre in Cape Town is hiring a Warehouse Manager to take charge of our daily operations and set the foundation for advancement into a Senior DC Warehouse Manager role.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics at our Cape Town distribution centre. From managing operational budgets to leading a large team, you’ll ensure goods move efficiently and cost-effectively through our supply chain. This is a hands-on role with real impact, focused on meeting KPIs and maintaining the highest standards across operations, safety, and service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight: Manage PnL, keep costs within budget, and handle month-end processes and reporting.

  • Layout & Process Optimization: Improve warehouse layout and streamline logistics and transport costs.

  • WMS Oversight: Ensure warehouse management systems (WMS) run smoothly and meet service requirements.

  • Daily Operations: Lead warehouse activities, supervise departmental teams, and hit daily performance targets.

  • Equipment & Facilities: Manage equipment upkeep and operational improvements.

  • People Leadership: Handle recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning for warehouse staff.

  • Health & Safety: Maintain a safe workplace through regular audits and proactive checks.

  • Security Management: Oversee warehouse security protocols and infrastructure.

  • Loss Prevention: Monitor and control shrinkage due to theft, damage, or dispatch errors.


What We’re Looking For

  • A completed 3-year degree in Supply Chain (required). An additional diploma in Accounting is a bonus.

  • 7–10 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Experience managing budgets and applying cost-saving strategies.

  • Advanced knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS) and RF scanning.

  • Proven background in driving continuous improvement.

  • Strong operational skills with the ability to adapt under pressure.
