Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is offering a two-year graduate development programme designed to equip young professionals with both institutional knowledge and hands-on experience, helping them build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Programme Overview

This structured and mentored 24-month programme is open to unemployed South African graduates aged 18-35 who hold relevant qualifications from Department of Higher Education & Training-registered institutions, including Universities, Universities of Technology, and TVET Colleges.**

Participants will gain valuable exposure by working across various departments, depots, and operational divisions within Transnet Freight Rail, with performance evaluations conducted every six months to track progress and ensure professional growth.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
South African citizen
✅ Aged between 18 and 35 years
✅ Hold a National Diploma, Diploma, BTech, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours qualification (NQF Level 6 or above) in:

  • Change Management
  • Organisational Design & Development
    ✅ No prior work experience required
